In the first quarter of 2025, several city building games captured the interest of Android users in Ghana. Based on Sensor Tower's data, here is a look at the performance trends of the top five games.

Transport Tycoon Empire: City saw a relatively stable number of weekly downloads, starting with around 441 and peaking at 507 by early March. The game maintained a consistent weekly active user base, increasing from 975 to 1.3K by the end of the quarter.

Super City: Building Master experienced a decline in weekly downloads, beginning at 378 and dropping to 177 by the end of March. Active users fluctuated, peaking at 718 in early January but dropping significantly to 253 by the end of the quarter.

Global City: Building Games had an increase in downloads early in the quarter, reaching 322 in mid-January, but then declined to 137 by the end of March. The active user count began at 1.8K and decreased steadily to 1.4K.

SimCity BuildIt showed varied trends, with downloads peaking at 294 in early March. Its revenue saw a notable increase, peaking at $90 in mid-March. Active users grew from 543 to 880 in early March before settling at 747.

Lastly, Gold Rush: Frozen Adventures had a downward trend in downloads, starting at 224 and ending at 65. Active users showed a similar decline, from 430 to 378.
